Hartsuiker
Mr. Hartsuiker has 37 year of experience in hydraulic
engineering and studies on tidal hydraulics. He started his career in the 3
hectare physical tidal model of the Dutch Delta area and he was responsible for
the daily operation of the
Eastern Scheldt
physical tidal model. He has participated as team member in a large number of
harbour, coastal defence and closure projects, both using physical and numerical
models. He has been involved in the tidal flow studies for harbour and coastal
projects in many countries, such as
Germany

Great Britain

Italy

Egypt

Bahrain

Abu Dhabi
,
India
,
Bangladesh
, Serawak and
Taiwan
. Moreover, he provided technical assistance for the design and operation of
physical tidal models in
Korea

Hong Kong
