Dr. Giordano Lipari

Dr Giordano Lipari area of expertise is computational and environmental hydraulics. Among his past activities at several European universities, he contributed to the development of computer codes for flow computation as well as to their application to topics such as wind-driven circulation in lakes, hydraulics of multi-port diffusers in sea outfalls, and dispersion in discharging jets.

He joined Alkyon and the Special Products Section since Feb 2008 as a project engineer and flow expert. He partakes Alkyon's both research-oriented and consultancy studies with ad hoc flow calculations, data interpretation and specialist advice. Currently, he is involved in the water-circulation analysis in the Wadden Sea during storms, as a contribution to the assessment of the water defences in the northern Dutch coast.
