Pipeline/Cable models
- PIPESIN
is a three-dimensional model for predictions of
self-lowering and free span development of offshore
pipelines and cables;
- PIPE/CABLE BURIAL depth design
model provides a probabilistic assessment of pipeline and
cable burial depth in morphologically dynamic seabeds;
- PIPECAST
is a further development of PIPESIN, capable of providing a
forecast of the pipe/seabed behaviour on the basis of a
hindcast of survey data;
- Various STABILITY MODELS for
probabilistic assessment of pipeline stability, maximum
allowable span and stability of pipeline cover and bottom
protection.
PIPESIN was
originally developed by Danish
Hydraulic Institute and WL|Delft
Hydraulics. The program has been further developed by Alkyon Hydraulic Consultancy & Research.
PIPE/CABLE BURIAL,
PIPECAST and STABILITY MODELS
are in-house developments of Alkyon Hydraulic
Consultancy & Research.
Our engineers and researchers have extensive experience with
all above mentioned models and Alkyon
Hydraulic Consultancy & Research is authorised to
apply the models.
