MARINE ECOMORPHOLOGIST/ECOLOGIST (JUNIOR)

The vacancy: As junior marine ecomorpholist in our Coast and Marine Systems group, the successful candidate will perform studies on the interaction between organisms and their abiotic environment. These studies can, for example, be background studies as part of EIA’s, or questions of clients who want to interfere in their ecosystem and do not know the effect in detail. Our ecomorphologist operates in a multidisciplinary project teams, where the responsibility for the ecomorphological work is carried.

The candidate we are looking for is a (marine) ecologist who enjoys to work beyond the field of ecology alone. He or she should be educated at a University Level with a specialisation in (marine) ecology. Proven interest in morphodynamics is an advantage. As well as having a good theoretical background, the candidate should be pragmatic and have excellent written and spoken communication skills in Dutch and English.
